David Lynch
To understand the essence of the film should be reviewed Lynch's first job as producer itself and it goes back to 1996 with the title "Six men getting sick" where absurd and repetitive images cluttering the screen while irritating noises to despair to the observer.
Eraserhead is saturated with surrealism, irrational situations and disturbing pictures. Until then, the American cinema had not put something so unusual and so difficult to describe as it marked the debut of Lynch. It was so strange that it was indefinable gender, some smart-ass wise to call it "Terror", though of course not:
A man with a ridiculous hairstyle, check out the house of a friend to digest a rare feast. At that time the mother tells him that her daughter gave birth to a premature body while trying to seduce him. Imperceptibly see the monstrosity that seems to be an emerging equine creature. Some scenes later, the subject loses literally the head as a child takes to sell in a factory of his brain removed a line of draft that will serve to lead hundreds of pencils. Invariably
one tries to find some kind of meaning in the surrealist cinema. The constant inconsistency presents a challenge to logic and rational beings we constantly try to link ideas to make them understandable way, but it is only an action that transforms the phenomenon into something that allows unreal feel less vulnerable. Examples abound and each one can give a plausible contribution to the hidden meaning of any work of the genre, but probably will be wrong. So it is so enigmatic and that is so appealing.
on "Eraserhead" is spoken from multiple lenses, from the denial of paternity to the ravages of civilization sobreindustrializada. From my point of view only reflects the dark and twisted mind of Lynch, a rather unusual source of the most recalcitrant irrationalities of the absurd more attractive and a relentless motor experimental film, muddy but very purposeful.
